Flexible Printed Circuit board (Flexible Printed Circuit circuit referred to as FPC), also known as flexible circuit board, flexible circuit board, is a highly reliable, excellent flexible printed circuit board made of polyimide or polyester film as the substrate. FPC design attention points:
1.Gold surface reinforced, silver paste conductive material
The gold surface is reinforced with pure adhesive, and the reinforcement and pure adhesive are both drilled, and then silver paste is dropped from the hole to make the plate and the reinforcement grounded. The resistance value of this method is close to 0 ohms. At present, it is the most ideal production method, and the scope of use is mainly multi-layer boards with connectors (requiring grounding) and other types of boards requiring grounding and connectors.
2.Material selection for reinforcement
PI reinforcement is suitable for plug boards with pull-out fingers. This type of board must use PI reinforcement, other types of board and other positions except the plug is recommended not to use PI reinforcement, this material is not strong enough and the price is high.
FR-4 reinforcement is suitable for most plates such as keys and side keys, but this reinforcement must be pressed with pure glue to play a better reinforcement role.
Steel reinforcement is suitable for multi-layer plates and single and double panels with connectors. The hardness of this supplement is relatively high, the produced board is relatively flat, and the SMT is relatively easy to operate. It is recommended that all types of plates with connectors can be reinforced with steel sheets (except for those that need to be grounded with gold surface).
3.Through hole design
The hole must not be designed in the bending area, otherwise it will not pass the test.
4.Design of electromagnetic film grounding hole
The grounding hole of the electromagnetic film must not be designed in the bending area and sliding area, otherwise it will seriously affect the bending and sliding life of the FPC.
5.Character design
Text can not be designed in the bending area and sliding area, otherwise it will seriously affect the bending and sliding life of FPC.
6.Flap, sliding plate of pure rubber window opening
The pure rubber window should be as close as possible to both ends of the bending area and the sliding area to ensure the life of this product.
